Jamal and the Forty Thieves

This is one of the stories that I told last semester in my Storytelling class. It comes from Persia.

Very clever. I have to wonder what Jamal was thinking as the nights went by and the whereabouts of the jewels were not immediately apparent, but I guess it turned out all right in the end. :)

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. One of the reasons I like this story is that the Astrologer had a name and that made him seem more human and real to me.
